Z-Wave Alliance At ISC West 2013 Recap
Z-Wave was once again the star of the security industry, with a strong showing at ISC West, April 10-12 in Las Vegas.
This key industry event, sponsored by The Security Industry Association, brought more than 23,000 industry professionals representing over $50b in buying power. More than a dozen Z-Wave Alliance members exhibited, and many more exhibits featured Z-Wave, the cornerstone wireless technology behind the security industry's market leaders! The feel of the show was highly positive for all the exhibitors and attendees, with many members commenting that traffic was not only up from last year but now at levels prior to 2008. Many booths have increased their size and companies are invigorating their tradeshow activity. Overall traffic was very busy, with a +10.2% attendance Increase and many new products.
“Fantastic,” exclaimed Alan Stoddard, senior director of marketing for Honeywell Security Group when asked how ISC West had performed for his company. “We had great traffic and a lot of excitement over our Lynx 5100 and MaxPro Cloud Solutions.” Added Sean Leonard, marketing director for Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies. “ISC West provided us with an audience eager to learn how our aptiQ Series is bringing that future today by attracting a growing attendee base that wants to do business with us. We are already planning for next year.” Richard Soloway, CEO of Napco Security Technologies stated, “This was the most exciting show we’ve seen in years. We were blown away by the enthusiastic dealer responses for our iBridge remote services system."
The next major security event for Z-Wave and Z-Wave Alliance members will be ESX, which returns to Nashville June 17-21.
