The Z-Wave Alliance is a consortium of over 200 leading manufacturers and service providers worldwide
that are dedicated to interoperable wireless home control products based on the Z-Wave open standard.
Z-Wave is a key enabling technology driving the "Internet of Things."
The Z-Wave Alliance Interoperability lab is designed to provide real world applications-based
testing to ensure interoperability, coexistence and positive user experience when using
over-the-air radio frequency and over the-power line home communications technologies.
The Z-Wave Alliance Interoperability Lab
The Z-Wave Alliance Interoperability Test Lab is designed to provide applications-based testing that ensures interoperability, coexistence and positive user experience when using over-the-air radio frequency and over-the-power line home communications technologies.
The Interoperability Lab has the capabilities to test complex systems level performance, as well as interoperability and link performance on an individual device level. The Lab maintains an extensive library of Z-Wave devices, representing all certified device types on every Z-Wave frequency, and a variety of other wireless products to test coexistence and cross-technology interoperability.
We have expertise and experience with products utilizing the 400MHz ISM band, 900MHz ISM band and the 2.4GHz ISM band, and with various protocols such as ZigBee and IP, as well as Z-Wave. We also have significant experience with Homeplug, Homeplug AV, X10 and Insteon powerline carrier systems.
In addition to testing tasks the Lab can also help you with both implementation recommendations and support for your existing or coming wireless project. Created and maintained by the Z-Wave Alliance to serve it members, the Lab serves both alliance members and non-members..
The Z-Wave Alliance Interoperability Lab is conveniently located in Piscataway, New Jersey, just 40 minutes away from Newark International Airport and New York City.
